Sorry to disappoint…

Due to circumstances beyond our control, our show at Karova on Good Friday has been cancelled. It’s OK – there’s nothing wrong with any of the guys in the band, there’s just some regulations that need to be observed on that day which have forced the cancellation.

Shame, too. I really wanted to see Juan play.

Still, I’m sure there will be another time coming up soon(ish).  So think of it not as a cancellation, but more of a postponement.

Until next time,

The lads.

Georgie Parker

Are you a fan of fuschia, fashion, waterworks and Australian television icon Georgie Parker? We are – now that all of these elements have been combined with our song ‘Let The Satellites Fall‘ in the latest episode of Home and Away. If you want to check it out, visit here:

http://au.tv.yahoo.com/home-and-away/video/-/watch/24873485/home-and-away-tue-12-apr-episode-5272/

You’ll have to visit on a machine with Flash support, and if you’re not a fan of advertisements, try skipping to 16:13 in the timeline. Mind you, the episode has songs from our faves Band Of Horses and fellow Aussies Sparkadia. So its a decent watch.

Cheers,

Steve

Karova tonight

We’re about to hit the stage at Karova. I’m personally pretty pumped about it.

And tonight is the first time I’ve really thought that there’s an insect plague in regional Victoria. There’s crickets everywhere! I was at Golden Plains last weekend and there were a few there, trapped under the spotlights. But they’re indoors tonight… Freaky!

Playing this Friday at Karova Lounge, Ballarat

Hey all,

We’re playing at Karova this Friday night. It’s the first time we’ve played in quite a while. Boxing Day might have been our last go?

So, we’ve got a swag of new toe-tappers and a select handful of Matheson ‘Classics’. Plus our good friend, Kristie Glab, will be playing as well.

Come and see us stretch the legs and ease yourself into a post-St Paddy’s day weekend. Nothin’ like the hair of the dog, eh?

Catchyas,

Steve
